Yeah. I think they accomplished more (without scoring) during the first PP with him on it than they do with Letang at the helm.

Much easier to run a PP when everything is kept simple. He made a few good keeps at the line and got the puck on net. That's all you can really ask for.

Maatta would be fine if we ran 2 defenseman on the pp. He’s not a good enough facilitator to be the only one up top.

He did look good on that pp, though.

Team failure on the other two.

71 and 81 goals were terrific.

More proof they can win without Letang.
The kneejerk reaction is to laugh and call this a hot take, but I find myself nodding my head more and more.
The sample size of one game is tongue in cheek, absolutely.

Him missing 41 games last season and the entire playoffs on a cup winning team carries some weight.

Yohe just told Madden, quote "If you're banking on the Penguins winning the Cup again without Kris Letang...NO WAY!"

So there you have it
