Finally got to watch the second half of this game this morning...and that might be just about the most dramatic/tense game we've played this year, had kind of a playoff-feel of importance and it really highlighted, for me, how bad Mears can be in a big spot...Steigy was just about the worst in the league, but I'd take him in a big game over Mears...sorry, it's just amateur hour...

Gary Thorne called a few Kings games last year, I think he still works for MASN doing Orioles games...let's see if a pro wants to come in and do the job...

Mears fills dead air as good as the typical play by play guy but sucks out loud at big moments. His voice cracking on the last goal call was a bummer.
