Leighton still blows donkeys...
Spoiler: There was more to come.I'm not certain there's more to come...Leighton might not be used in either league, he just opens the door when there's going to be a gap between Jarry starts and then when he's in the minors, he opens the doors while the other kid starts, DeSmith or whatever...I don't read a ton into the move...
That said, GMJR is/has obviously created a lot of smoke with his comments and now, a seemingly, superfluous move...that sees clear a roster spot, clear a contract spot and obtain a likely top-100 pick...

Very prominently...he was their guy in the ECF and SCF. He was absolutely outstanding in the ECF...I think he had like three shutouts or something. However, he sucked out loud against the Hawks in the final.Didn't Leighton have a stint with the Flyers? Or am I remembering that incorrectly?

Ah yes, now I remember. I was super salty after we underachieved against the Habs, only to watch the Flyers dispatch them relatively painlessly.
