He really impressed me. Seeing him live made a big difference.

The live part makes sense, actually. The more I think about it, the less I see how his game wouldn’t translate to a telecast that well. He’s got great acceleration and lateral movement - that sort of thing doesn’t always come through the tv that well.

He’s also very low maintenance, which is the number one attribute a d-man can have, IMO. He could find his way into any top-4 in the league.

It's not even close to being the same thing.

There have been less than 4 or 5 people who have worn the number 66. Literally every team has consistently had a guy wear 4 or 9. It's not even comparable.

That's nobody level A=B ****.

And there are people that gripe that Jarry wears number 35. My point is complaining about a number is stupid. Ho-Sang wears it because he looked up to Mario, Mario picked 66 because Wayne wore 99. It's just a number.
