It's always good day when you see a Patrick Lalime stat.

Jarry is more "fun" to watch than Murray. Not sure if relevant.

It touches on his underlying athleticism...he is so smart at this...it's unreal...this kid could be something else...this was the feeling I had the first time I saw Jake Allen...star potential, which I don't throw around lightly...

I think it tinked off of Nick Holden, who was probably just there to pull the puck out of the net like he normally does...

Say it isn't so...someone scored their first against us? Elias really needs to dig up a stat on that.

He’s athletic and has top notch anticipation.

The goal against tonight is a wart in his game. Loosey goosey stick discipline.

Yeah, that's a classic mask...

What happened when we lost him? Contract dispute? For some reason I associate his name with contract dispute, but don't actually recall the circumstances around it...

Let's play a little revisionist intermission history...I think Kevin Constantine is here around this time, the new defensive structure creates a resurgent year for old Barrasso...let's say we get a deal done with Lalime, he makes the team, his play (and numbers) stay fresh because of the team defense...what happens...? Anything different in the next few years...? Even going a bit further, does Johan Hedberg never become a thing from his run in the '01 playoffs...?

As for Lalime, his career just seemed to go right into the sewer after that game 7 vs Toronto. He gave up 2 barf-laden goals early on as I recall and didn't finish the game...I don't think he ever returned to form...
