I said the same thing about that slug Ron Hainsey for years every time he was brought up, and look what happened.

Never say never, but highly unlikely they go for Evander Kane.

I think everyone is pretty well-versed in the whole no-hockey-sense-players-don't-work-with-Crosby-and-Malkin-but-I-don't-know-what-Nils-Ekman's-excuse-was-maybe-he-just-wasn't-very-good thing at this point...so, I imagine Kane is not on the radar...

Hainsey didn't make nearly as little sense...plus, I believe there was GMJR connection there anyhow...

Also, knock on wood, winger isn't an issue with this team in consecutive seasons for the first time in the Crosby era, right?

Wing doesn't really matter to him because he's just a streak and score player...but he plays LW with Eichel and Reinhart.

Then it's Pouliot-ROR-Okposo.

If Risto and Bogo are still out that means we're going to see two fringe or sub-NHL d-men tonight probably...Justin Falk and Taylor Fedun, the former in particular, is just not a good player...former Wild (not to be confused with Faulk the excellent Hurricane RHS)...Nathan Beaulieu is a drowsy player as well...we should be able to have our pick of the litter tonight if we're on our game...

Nils Ekman. What a ride that was. One game you're scoring three goals in like 5 minutes and then a month later you're bolting off the ice through the runway door because your arm bent in half the wrong way and your team proceeds to get a too many men on the ice penalty because you didn't exit the ice properly because the arena you were playing in was an ancient shithole.

Is that so...? I really like I'm pretty good at that to be honest...I don't keep track, so I'll take your word for it...I think I am 0-1 for this year saying it, but I was on a wicked nice hot streak last year with it I thought...

When the Sabres played the Caps a couple weeks ago, the analyst on the game looked at that D lineup for Buffalo and said that there was very little experience facing a red-hot Caps attack. Sabres allowed 1 goal all nite. Hopefully that won’t happen here.
