Took me a minute to figure out who Senk Show is. Terrible nickname.

It's his reach McDavid surprised me with. He plays like he's 6'4".

That was what really impressed/surprised me. I thought his line had been out there forever, and it was going to be one those chip into the zone and go for a change type situations. Instead, he turned on the jets and ripped it top shelf.

Another odd thing, I felt it was pretty empty last night in the upper concourse. Felt nowhere near packed to what it was on opening night, and IIRC it was almost the same attendance wise that was "reported."

Lot of empty seats in the lower bowl too.

They probably go by tickets sold not who actually shows up. It looked not packed on TV either, but i figured it was a Tuesday night game against Edmonton.. so no one really cared. McDavid vs Crosby or not.

Yea, it was that. For how "rabid" this town is for hockey, I expected more people wanting to see the spectacle of McDavid.

I know baseball isn't really a national thing, per se...but any chance the World Series impacted it a baby bit...? Or was it just simply, Tuesday/Edmonton/team isn't on fire/it's October...?

There were Student Rush single seats available for the game yesterday, I was surprised given it was McDavid v. Crosby.

Does the casual hockey fan know who McDavid is?

Maybe not, but you'd think some folks would've come down from Erie to watch.

Thanks. The story I saw said that he got elbowed, which in most (but clearly not all) cases would indicate shenanigans.
