There have been almost zero actually complementary players named...On a real quick skim, I'm shocked no one said Jamie Benn. Not sure he'd by my top choice, but he'd be in my shortlist of two or three.
Pick any player in the NHL and add them to the Penguins.

The question was any player. I'm not going to pick Mark Letestu just to be different.

I dunno, I thought Tavares was a good choice. Crosby, Malkin, and Tavares down the middle would be money.

Don't get me wrong, McDavid and EK65 are superior machines...I'm just saying that most of the players picked are star centers on a team with two or offensive RD on a team with two...
We're clearly not going for fit...which is fine, the thread has no weight anyhow...

The question needs recalibrated with the filter of: they need to be happy with their role here. This eliminates Tavares, mcdavid, etc.Don't get me wrong, McDavid and EK65 are superior machines...I'm just saying that most of the players picked are star centers on a team with two or offensive RD on a team with two...

Also, we all want EK65, so disqualify him and any Norris winner maybe?
Then we can talk about guys like tarasenko, kuchwrov, etc.
