I quite enjoyed this.

I was actually pretty pleased with their play yesterday. I think 9 times out of 10, if they play like that, they win the game. Mason was just incredible and we dinged the post too many times. Beat the Senators tomorrow, clinch the playoff spot, and get amped for the post season.

lolol, outstanding Meow. Yeah the effort was absolutely there, just absolutely awful puck luck (including that ridiculous sky puck that I think was the Flyers' second goal). If they put in a solid effort on Tuesday in a must-win game, I'll be happy.

I was in that hell hole yesterday...sitting next to some cow who pretty much seemed ready to give birth every time the team gained the zone (all nine times in the whole game...) then she'd manage to balance herself on her kankled hooves and swat her Penguin-fan boyfriend in the face repeatedly with her Let's Go Flyers towel...who gives a towel at a game where your season is already long over...?

I hate those *******...but from a gameplay perspective, we really dominated them pretty good...they didn't touch the puck for some 50 minutes...we didn't wilt, we just didn't finish...frustrating but improvement none the less...

I think yesterday was way more of an anomaly than some recent games. Malkin and Sutter looked like men possessed, and I loved it. I really think Malkin is the on ice, lead by example captain of this team.

Like it was said, it seems like the effort given yesterday would have won the game, but it's been said too much lately. It just extremely frustrating.

I don't know if it's just the bounces (Flyers get a lucky one on the PP, Pens hit post and don't go in). Or just bad luck, or what, but nothing seems to be going right lately.

That said, put it out there tomorrow against the Sens and just get into the playoffs. From there, you can start brand new. Everyone keeps saying it doesn't matter what you do during the regular season. Hopefully they prove that this year.

It really bugged me after that sky puck goal that Pierre (I think) started going on about how the Flyers' PP was just so precise, and you can't give them chances because they'll do stuff like this.
