Most of the nastiness is gone from the Flyers-Pens rivalry, at least for now. Kudos to Manning for trying to reignite it.

Those empty yellow seats stand out like a sore thumb. I really think, as you mentioned, it has more to do with people trying to get up and get their blood circulating. Or just sitting on a toilet in the restroom thawing out

I still have my reservations about Guentzel, but he had one heck of a game. He was the most noticeable on and away from the puck I've seen from him so far.

Murray was outstanding and maybe the main reason the Pens won that game.

I thought Kessel had a pretty bad game last night. I noticed a lot of offensive zone turnovers, poor decisions, etc. He was visibly frustrated several times.

Yeah, he wasn't very sharp; especially on the PP. Even the best have their off nights. I think him and Schultz were both particularly not their best.
