Also, alliteration most precisely refers to the repetition of consonants rather than vowels (authoritative and argumentative is not pure alliteration) dot argumentative

This is true, I was incorrect and knew it while typing it. But it was in place of saying "those two A-words" or some such, which would have left it open for me to be called an a-hole by an internet sniper...so, I went with alliteration instead...calculated error...

Hmm? I'm telling you that I'm not arguing with you and just to leave it be...you asked what to think of the period, it was stated, it has little to do with the Jackets being in 3rd or 11th or 72nd at this point in time...wasn't trying to be either of those alliterative adjectives in this case...

In fact, coming over to this board has been a little more refreshing in the sense that I don't fight through as much trolling of the team as I did on the other board...I can actually discuss the game more...

Shoulda pointed out from the start that you were commenting on the Pens, not the Blue Jackets, Sarcastic. The way you wrote it (and now that you clarified, I understand it), it made it sound like the Blue Jackets are an easy win, and the fact that they're 9-1 (beating the Hawks, Blues, etc) mean nothing because of them being 11th place.
