Spezza is a healthy scratch....Traffic, bro.
He'd be a decent 3C.Spezza is a healthy scratch....Traffic, bro.
That's why I said - it's a shame his contract is an anchor.Ian Cole is now a regular scratch on this team...the talk of adding anything with money or term, particularly term, is a non-starter really...
Kevin Stevens is the ultimate FoM.Anyone catch the Kevin Stevens segment on HNIC? Props to Lemieux for being so loyal.
Yeah, I understand...part of my point is that Ian Cole is a regular healthy scratch...That's why I said - it's a shame his contract is an anchor.Ian Cole is now a regular scratch on this team...the talk of adding anything with money or term, particularly term, is a non-starter really...
2 more years at 4 million plus and he's 36. Good luck lol.It seems a bit harsh to call his contrat an anchor all of a sudden. I'm sure GMJR could get rid of it within hours if he were desperate.

ThanksI mean, center depth is the name of the game. Centers make the line in most cases. Our breakouts/zone exits are designed through the center lane. We often even enter the zone down the middle (though, that's probably confirmation bias a little bit because we have two of the best centers in the game)...if I'm an offensive minded coach (which I am these days), I'm trying to cross the blues in the middle and cross the red out wide. The Penguins do a good job of this and with Guentzel in the three hole (and his development as a hockey player has been impressive this season) and Kessel down there, it allows for a lot more flexibility and more reliable exits/entries. Guentzel has quickly proven to be a better distributor of the puck than Sheahan.
Re: Kuhnhackl - he's been on my list of top players all season, relative to his role. He's had a very good year.
I think the league knows he won’t be there.Just noticed nhl.com ad for the all star game does not have Sid on it. It has Ovi.. and the young guys McDavid, Matthews along with Stamkos, Subban, and Kane.
I don't mind that - after seeing the Tom Brady love, It's good to let people know you have other stars.. besides I don't think Sid needs any pushing - he's got a HOF resume already.
Doesn't he have to go or get suspended for a game for being a no-show? Unless he's "hurt", I think he has to showI think the league knows he won’t be there.Just noticed nhl.com ad for the all star game does not have Sid on it. Crosby and the Pens have shown in the past that they don't give a **** about the one game suspension. I'll be shocked if he goes.Doesn't he have to go or get suspended for a game for being a no-show? I think Marner and Nylander are finding out now why you should be friends with the TO media.
