This team to a man almost is simply not equipped as is to make it through a season. Whether it's style of play, offseason conditioning being a joke, or the back end rehab not up to snuff. Something needs to change because it's a decade of this sht
I think its just bad luck
There are injuries that are bad luck, nothing you can do. Blocking a shot, breaking a foot.. things of that ilk. And a lot of the injuries you could isolate and say yeah, what can you do there? Just bad luck. But after a decade of bad luck I just don't think it's luck anymore as a whole.
It's the universe balancing itself out for giving us crosby

gotta take it case-by-case, i guess. there's a history there (whitney's ankle, sid's neck meat) where you had junior varsity doctors being incompetent. but eeesh...i can't imagine our training and conditioning is really different than anyone else. so all the soft tissue stuff, it really does seem like bad luck.
maybe there's also a little bit an of overly cautious approach to concussions because of the team's history, and that's added to the body count. like the jarry situation this past week.
...i guess being a bunch of non-physical runts might also catch up to us from time-to-time
