Who was doing play by play with Stan Savran? I didn't remember that Stan was a color guy but I already left Pgh at this point.

Me too. My dad told me they were winning the cup that year so we started a scrapbook and every morning I was cutting out newspaper clippings to commemorate the 96 cup run that wasn't.

I remember going to the rat trap game.

That was really a hell of an offensive juggernaut but the defense was weak and the goalies struggled.

Looking at the standings I was probably more worried about the Wings than the Avs
