Watched Cam Lee for half of a game before I had to be done...if he was 18 and had this level of skill, I wouldn't be that interested...he'll be 24 before he's a North American pro...This would be a good time to refresh me on who we really don't know much about...did I ever watch O'Connor...? Cam Lee is someone I need to watch...
I'm watching American this week, so I can throw them on the pile...
Mikey I can’t recall... did you watch any tape on O’Connor?Watched Cam Lee for half of a game before I had to be done...if he was 18 and had this level of skill, I wouldn't be that interested...he'll be 24 before he's a North American pro...This would be a good time to refresh me on who we really don't know much about...did I ever watch O'Connor...? I don't even have anything to say...I just don't find anything that he does very intriguing...
Ooh, I did...Big rangy kid, plus skater. Definitely has some skill to him. Balanced attacker. Backchecks hard and comes back deep for a LWer. Not a world-beater, but clearly the best player on his team. Played a ton of time, sometimes 24, 25 minutes a night...PP/PK. Wasn't super sold on his hockey sense in my limited viewings. The size/skating/skill package for a 21 year old is workable. It'd be cool if we got a third liner out of this. It's all about the hockey IQ, if he's got it, he'll play...if it's only mid- or low-level, he probably won't make pension...but again, just passive viewings, he wasn't draft eligible (obviously), so he wasn't on my radar...Nice write up on Drew O'Connor in the Trib:
Thanks to a growth spurt that saw him surge from a compact 5-foot-9 to a stout 6-foot-3, O’Connor earned a scholarship from Dartmouth and in two years developed into the Big Green’s “best player on the ice every game we played this season,” according to former Penguins defenseman Ben Lovejoy, a volunteer assistant coach for Dartmouth this past season.
O’Connor’s dominant sophomore season saw him finish with the fifth-most goals in the NCAA during the 2019-20 campaign and be recognized as the Ivy League Co-Player of the Year along with Cornell goaltender Matthew Galajda.

Anyone familiar with him?
Jim Paek says “F you”I already don't like Cam Lee. Never saw him skate nor did I read anything beyond mikeys blurb from yesterday.
Just not enough syllables.

I was hoping you’d see this.That **** yellow stick/no triangle logo.
It's maddening. First how do you do a "retro" jersey without the proper retro logo? And okay fine you don't want to use the pigeon, why in the **** are they still using the Stadium Series logo from 2017? Who thinks this is a cool logo? It was fine for a one time thing but it should never be an official secondary logo.I was hoping you’d see this. That **** yellow stick/no triangle logo.
I worked with a hoser named Cam. A real dbag.I already don't like Cam Lee. Never saw him skate nor did I read anything beyond mikeys blurb from yesterday.

They clearly picked the word “retro” out of a hat, IMO.It's maddening. First how do you do a "retro" jersey without the proper retro logo?
