NHL overthought this one. Just do a league wide retro fourth jersey program. Adding in the "reverse" design is just muddying it up and not pleasing anybody.

I'm not shocked about new jerseys. I'm shocked that instead of simply doing retro jerseys (which seem to be incredibly popular), the NHL decided to do this reverse retro nonsense.
