Last year the injury hindered him. Now to me this year, he’s been a bit blah (at least in an offensive role).I think Kuhnhackl, adjusting for role, has been one of our five best players this season...

Yea good point. Sort of goes back to McKegg then to me. But getting a third line center would alleviate many of the bottom line problems we are seeingFair. I have really liked his forecheck and backcheck game...he's become more physical in a useful way, he's using his body to separate people from pucks instead of just regular old finishing his check...I've been impressed without he's adapted to his role, he's really carved out a niche in the show...
McKegg and Reaves don't possess a lot of skill, so they have to manufacture offense off the cycle (which is just fine)...I don't think they're quite good enough offensively to make any meaningful in-roads though...in other words, I don't think Kuhnhackl can be the most skilled player on his line and expect to generate much offense...as in actual, register-it-on-the-scoreboard offense...as opposed to attack time...I think they can generate attack time...
