Not only do we not - though nothing is dead - but I'd expect to see Ian Cole back in the lineup on Friday.

Not you, too.Source of the post 5/12 if you count Hagelin.

Nah, I like Hags, just posting for the lulz.
I think he's 'due' and will move back towards the mean with a hot streak soon.

4/12 of the players on this calendar don't play here anymore. SAD!
5/12 if you count Hagelin.
Got an actual out loud laugh...

Here is what will happen: Oilers get Cole, Hagelin, scraps, Pens get Letestu, Maroon, scraps.
Or maybe it won't.

It's mind-boggling that Mackey keeps bringing up the possibility of trading Kessel in the off-season. What's the point? Cap relief? The Pens are a contender now and Sprong is not going to replace Phil anytime soon or ever. Just stop it.

I see that Scott Wilson has yet to get even a single point this season.

Maroon would be our slowest player, but he is tough to get the puck away from below the dots...

...and I could say "what a Maroon" ten times a game. That alone would be worth it, imo.

Archibald down for conditioning.
Doesn't really make sense for him to ride the bench when he could make meaningful contributions over a guy like Reaves who only gets 3 minutes a night and 0 shifts in the 3rd.

I do like Reaves but I have been saying this for a little bit know. Poor coaching decisions...

I wouldn't classify playing Reaves over Archibald under "poor coaching decisions"...that feels too heavy handed for guys, where one is not very clearly better than the other, who play six minutes a night...
I wouldn't mind if Archibald got a little more work in...but I'm not losing any sleep here...doesn't solve a problem, as there is no problem that's to be solved here. Fourth line has been doing well the last few weeks...

I gave him a chance. I'm pretty sure in the games that I've watched, I've seen him in the offensive zone less than 10 times. I think he had one shift there against Philly. Every other time the 4th line was getting their **** kicked in by Philly's bottom lines.

I just think our fourth line is poorly assembled/don’t have an identity. They aren’t a great forechecking line, they aren’t a speedy 4th line, they aren’t a skilled 4th line, I don’t know what they are.I gave him a chance. Most of it to me is I think McKegg is a empty jersey of a player. He’s sort of fast and that’s about it. He has no chance of scoring and he’s not very physical. And he hasn’t been a ferocious forechecker by any means. Kuhnhackl hasn’t been horrible, but he’s not doing much of anything. He’s only on the team right now because of his PK ability (which isn’t even that great).
If we get a third line center and Sheahan and rowney move to the 4th line, Reaves will look way way better. I like Reaves when he is in the offensive zone. I don’t like him in the defensive half. Playing with Sheahan and Rowney would make that a pretty tough 4th line to play against

I could do the same and cherry pick opposing instances. It isn't going to do much.

I think Kuhnhackl, adjusting for role, has been one of our five best players this season...
