I find it odd that people still want him to be something that he isn’t. He’s inconsistent. He takes bad penalties. He takes shifts, periods off. Then he melts everyone’s faces when the stakes are highest. We’ve only seen it for *checks watch* 16 seasons.

Well, he's showing consistent flashes when Sid is out. Hopefully that's the case because the stakes are the highest. I'm not asking for a consistent string, I'm asking him to show up for almost one complete game, like he did in Game 1.

I don't think Malkin has been good for a large majority of this series. But we need a superman game from him...

At MSG, many fans near me were calling Malkin a commie and that he should go back to Russia...then the scoreboard prompted them to chant "I-Gor"...it was a source of confusion...

Carter has been slow mud this series and ERod at least has speed, but I would probably go:

Zucker-Carter-Kapanen
Heinen-Blueger-McGinn

Crash the net second line with Kap providing speed and a more traditional third line. Fourth line becomes a collection of spare parts but who gives a ****.
