Shad sneaking in there about 15 hours too late :pop: :slug:
Better late than never ;)

One thing I've noticed on Twitter, which isn't necessarily surprising...most of the comments for the stuff guys like Mackey post are sycophantic in nature. That's probably because they block the ones that disagree with them, of course, but it's tiresome reading "Great take, Jason!!" over and over again.

Exactly nine years ago today, we were all sitting at work in fevered anticipation of Game 7 against the Red Wings. Of course the 2016 Cup win was also on this day. A blessed day indeed.

I spent all of the third period feeling like I was going to puke every organ out of my body.

I was at my brother's house in DC pacing on his patio chain smoking and watching through the window. He eventually came out and said "your hockey team is about to win the **** Stanley Cup get inside"

@shmenguin hasn't posted since Friday...he visited the board on Monday but has been on radio silence. I'm worried about him, and the effects of all of the Caps celebrations.

Meh, he said he had little to discuss right now and wouldn't be around as often...he'll be all right...the draft is right around the corner, and then we're gonna sign Tavares...

Let's get Hoffman instead, he's probably available on the cheap right now...we can send his wife-thing to the minors...

Send her to the minors? You want her to be a pedophile along with a cyber bully...

Hasn't this franchise endured enough WAG shenanigans with the CPZ experience?

Side note: Weekly salary cap in the ECHL was up to $13,260 last season. I'm consistently amazed by the guys like CPZ who play 5+ seasons down there, after it's clear they have no future above the level, for $500 a week.

Housing and utilities are usually covered by the team as well. $500 a week is decent when it doesn't have to go towards those bills.

Do you know how much money he saved not having to buy pop tarts...? It was the best move he could have made...

The pop tart clause really stalled negotiations. My agent wanted his cut, so he was on it like a dog on a bone.

Damn kids have it easy these days. Did you see they make pop tarts with extra frosting now? Shake my damn head.

The non-frosted pop tarts are superior.
