I'm not trying to be cheap, but $750 for tickets and probably another $600+ for the hotel... JFC, I just don't want to spend that.

I got very lucky it looks...I happened to be dicking around on twitter, and I saw the post immediately and bought the tickets immediately after that...
You know, I saw jagr post an Instagram story that had a 68 shining above the pittsburgh skyline and assumed I missed the news

Well, don't feel too bad...it appears I'm going to be screwed out of these tickets. Despite having receipts and confirmation numbers, a text saying that my tickets will be delivered...they went, "oh actually...no."

So...I'm guessing what happened is the reseller got mad that ticket prices went up and did some back alley bullshit to screw me. I'm simultaneously furious and heartbroken. Jagr is why I started to love the game.

That's **** horseshit. My cousin works for Eat-n-Park corporate, so he's going to see if he can snag free box seats for us. Doubt it, but worth a shot.

That's crap. If you bought the tickets at the listed price, and the seller wasn't able to update to catch the jump, that's on them.

After two very poor customer service interactions, I took to publicly shame them on Twitter...now, someone has reached out to me to try to make this right. Standby, boys...I could salvage this yet...

Don't think that this went unnoticed, this is an all-world gesture, even if it doesn't pan out. :fist:

This is awesome. (The jersey retirement, not the bullshit ticket thing). Hopefully 66 is there as well.

All right, I see new tickets in my app now...I had tickets there before too and those didn't count. But I'm cautiously optimistic that I'm back in the game here. Let's (probably) go!

Just picked up 2 tickets for $157/ticket. It's well worth it.
We just bought four right off the aisle in 217 for about $1050. I'll worry about the rest of the logistics later but just happy to have them in hand.

Is this like unmasking a Scooby Doo villain and when the mask is off… it was Beau Bennett all along!

Jagr's career is infinitely interesting to me. He's played for 9 NHL teams but I think he's probably consensus somewhere between the top 7-12 players of alltime. I don't think any player considered that great has played for that many teams in any sport
