The National feed gets blacked out if you're in the market but the local one like ATTSN doesn't. Which is a problem if your streaming service doesn't have the local service

I can really pick apart someone’s game if I choose to (I almost never do though) and I have very fewer bad things to say about Blueger.
Except for his handedness. Be right-handed, dude

He's playing good, positional defense, he's a smart player, he's got 32 points in his last 82 games...he's 26 years old. Is he a 3C for you? Or is he an elite 4C...?

I feel bad saying this because I love Blueger but he feels like an elite 4C. Doesn't quite have the offensive skills as a 3C but obviously he's been on fire latelyHe's playing good, positional defense, he's a smart player, he's got 32 points in his last 82 games...he's 26 years old. I think he's growing into a 3C role quite nicely. His #'s right now, even if he drops off a bit, are on par for a 3C offensively (while being the best offensive player on every line he's played with thus far -- not ideal) and that's on top of providing great defensive play while not getting favorable zone starts.
Like, what kind of offense does one think is realistic for a 3C to typically produce? Not going to look around the league right now, but I'm sure Blueger's not too far off from the top, and again, that's with less-than-ideal linemates from an offensive talent standpoint. I'd have no doubt, that if you'd take this current version of Teddy B and plop him between, says, Hags and Kessel of 2016, he's putting up elite 3C #s.

his best play has come with increased ice time as a 3C so he's a 3C to me

I think you have flexibility there. In an ideal world, he is a 4C. I think the 3C is possible, but you worry about a slide. If you commit to him on your third line, what happens if his game slips? Punching above your weight class all season isn’t a great plan, but is this actually his consistent level of play? It very well might be.He's playing good, positional defense, he's a smart player, he's got 32 points in his last 82 games...he's 26 years old. Is he a 3C for you? Or is he an elite 4C...?
I guess that’s an answer without giving an answer

Ok, seems like we feel very similar to how I do...I don't really think this is a legit 3C in this league...but I think he could be a diesel 4C...

Last year's 4th line is now the 3rd line. Obviously not an ideal situation.

the one thing about Bluegs is he has a great motor and can be a tenacious forechecker. While I don't think he's necessarily a 3C, I do think a line of him and Tanev can be the third line of a cup winning team (assuming there's a third forward on that line that knows what they're doing too)

It’s called development. Look it up, GLast year's 4th line is now the 3rd line. Obviously not an ideal situation.

See. I don’t agree with bolded. He works hard, but is more cerebral than given credit. He’s always on top of the puck. Is body positioning is good. His angles are good. But motor and tenacious mean he’s a buzz saw out there. He’s more of a thinker, not a stinker.the one thing about Bluegs is he has a great motor and can be a tenacious forechecker. Of course, last year's 4th line was way better than last year's 3rd line, so it makes sense.

idk, you pull a list of the current 3Cs in league, I'm not sure if there are like, 15 I'd easily take instead of Teddy, let alone 20+ (that's not to say being played at 3C automatically makes one a 3C. see: there not necessarily being 31 #1 D-men in the league).
The gold-standard in the Sid/Geno era has been a Top-5 pick in Staal, and Bonino, a high-iq, defensively sound player with underrated hands (sounds a lot like TB) whose career high in points is 49 while in a 2C role with Anaheim.
Teddy's most consistent linemates to this stage have been Tanev, an elite ham 'n egger, and ZAR, who's certainly more worthwhile on his own side of the blue line than the other one. It's not a stretch to think if he had more offensively-talented linemates he'd be putting up even better #s than he is now, especially as he's a better disher than shooter.

I remember catching a preseason game 3 seasons ago and Teddy KGB really stood out in that game. I know it's preseason and all, but today I'm not surprised he's killing it.
