Going back to the conversation on toughs at the Civic Arena, you can currently bid on troughs from Joe Louis here: https://bid.orbitbid.com/lots/1152971#Y ... W3dpZF09MQ..
Anybody want to buy a handrail? There's like 18 of them for sale.

The Jefferson road sign is pretty awesome and starts at $25. You can also buy an ENTIRE Little Caesars kiosk. That's awesome.

Sidenote: is bidding not open yet or does Hockey Town just not care all that much?

That makes me a little sad that I didn't pay attention to the Civic Arena auction when it was up.

That makes a lot more sense. Speaking of, the Wings finally removed "Hockeytown" from their ice. Goodbye 90s NHL on FOX font.

there's still some stuff floating around on eBay from it and you could probably pick it up much cheaper than the original auction prices. But the eBay stuff is only the obvious stuff like banners, stuff with the Civic Arena logo, etc.

I have a safe that I won for $10 still sitting my garage, locked and no combo or key. Bought it so I could walk around the arena one last time. No idea if there's anything inside.

I think I fell down a rabbit hole. I've already purchased a 1990 All-Star game puck, and have two tabs open with other stuff.

there's a banner that's out there that I was gonna buy for my gameroom, but I didn't want to spend the money since I was going on vacation. Now that I'm back and won't be travelling anywhere until next spring, maybe I pull the trigger on it this weekend.

This one always shows up under Civic Arena and makes me laugh: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Nirvana-poster ... SwtgFbe2wA

They never played the Civic Arena. Even when they were playing their final tour, they were only playing 5k arenas.

Thanks. This is a bad idea. I'm supposed to be saving for a wedding, not convincing my fiancé that we definitely need a 1997 NHL Entry Draft banner.

Sprong skating with Sid and Jake, as Jesus intended. ZAR with Malkin and Phil. Brassard is dying. Sheahan is already dead. Jack Johnson skating with Schultz.

I give it an hour before we hear our first "Sprong has an attitude problem" report from some unknown person and for it to catch fire.
