Good thing for us. Niemi still hasn’t figured out how to stop NHL shooters.
Haha. My phone autocorrects Niemi to Bueno - couldn’t be most opposite

Do we have a ticket selling thread? I have some games I'd like to sell but I don't see a thread for it.

No, looks like we've been doing the by year. Create a 2018-19 and watch the money roll in!

Bob McKenzie

No official word yet from PIT on specifics of left leg/ankle injury suffered by Justin Schultz last night but speculation is it’s a fracture. Timeline TBD but it’s obviously going to be significant.
Fracture can often times be a better result than a high ankle sprain but if surgery is required for the fracture, which may be the case here, that could change things.

I like Bob but that's a whole lot of nothing I didn't already know.

Still looks like he tore his knee up as opposed to breaking bones.

It always gives me the willies when I think “boy, I hope his leg broke” yet here we are.

A fracture is arguably the best case scenario here. All I care about is the timeline at this point.

Welp I am on par with WebMD for medical advice. Happy to see it is just a break and not a tear of the knee.

Justin Schultz underwent successful surgery at UPMC Presbyterian to repair a fracture of his lower left leg on Sunday. Schultz is expected to miss the next four months.

So he will be back around Valentine’s Day. That’s not too bad

Not bad at all. Better than an acl.So he will be back around Valentine’s Day. That’s not too bad
I’m also assuming he will be on long term IR and we can use those cap savings for moves at the deadline

He is...but he doesn't play. He was a scratch half the year last year...he's been a scratch every game this year and he doesn't replace Jultz from a puck moving point of view either...
Letang can move it. JMFJ can carry it (but it's unclear if he's allowed). Maatta average mover. Oleksiak below average mover. Riikola remains to be seen. Ruhwedel well below average puck mover. Lot to ask for Letang...
