murray's glove issues were hopeless because he has sub-civilian level reflexes. it's also why a deflection from center ice would end up between his legs, in the net. his central nervous system would never allow him to be an NHL starter.
jarry...i dunno what happened, but it's not ^that

I was so starved for Penguins information that I read an article on the worst SBNation site (Pensburgh) where the smooth brained writers and commentators are arguing in favor of $10MM for Geno and $8MM for Letang being good numbers for their contract extensions. Two injury prone players in their mid-30s getting raises despite the impending issue of multiple years of a flat cap due to 12+ months of absolutely minimal gate receipts league wide? Get the **** out of here ya **** clowns.

Letang probably commands something close to his current contract still I would bet. Geno though.. no, I don't agree

Don't worry.... whichever side the "writers" are arguing today, they will "write" an article saying the exact opposite next week. Then flop back a couple weeks later. Don’t like anything over 7 for Geno and 6 for letang.
…not because they aren’t worth it today, but these contracts extend into your geriatric era which is gonna F you in the B if you don’t tread carefully.

Yeah, as a frequent reader of other teams' SB Nation blogs (primarily to laugh at their misfortune), Pensburgh is not great. Hooks Orpik has a lot of silly takes.I was so starved for Penguins information that I read an article on the worst SBNation site (Pensburgh) where the smooth brained writers and commentators are arguing in favor of $10MM for Geno and $8MM for Letang being good numbers for their contract extensions. Give Geno 6-7 per year and ask him to move to wing. That’s the best case scenario for me and a way to protect him from these recurrent injuries a bit and allow him to focus on scoringYeah, as a frequent reader of other teams' SB Nation blogs (primarily to laugh at their misfortune), Pensburgh is not great. For the folks that want Malkin on wing, and I don't have a position on that either way, who do you foresee taking 2C? Someone on the roster or a FA acquisition?

Yea or maybe in the trade market. Having Malkin as an extra wing could make it easier to trade one of our better wings for center helpFor the folks that want Malkin on wing, and I don't have a position on that either way, who do you foresee taking 2C? Someone on the roster or a FA acquisition?
I just have a hard time believing an oft injured aging center coming off major knee surgery is going to be effective and stay healthy with all thats required at center.

We already had to get a retired center to play 3C, and we only draft wingers...Malkin will be a center for the next several years...

Bring back Bonino as a 2-3 year stop gap. Let Geno run wild and Nick clean up the mess. He and Carter and handle rotating 2nd line center dutiesYea or maybe in the trade market.
