Crosby's production has been very consistent the last four years as he has stayed healthy...it's weird realizing that he is getting very close to the inevitable decline.

Not bad. Could do without the bridge on the yellow stripe.

I made an executive decision and permanently changed the wallpaper for all of the thin clients in use in IS at work.

A possibly team-issued Mario jersey just passed through eBay at slightly over $400. No COA from the team and based on the NHL shield on the collar, this "circa 2002" jersey is from the 2005-06 season.

Is there any difference between this and just an authentic retail jersey? Other than the sharpie on the tag, I guess.https://www.ebay.com/itm/-/113177845234 ... 675.l10137

Trying to get some hockey talk started.....
Looking at some of the free agent defensemen still available, there are a lot of at least decently well known names out there: tobi enstrom, mike green, Clayton stoner, Seidenberg, oduya, and bieksa still out there.
I’m still a bit worried about the depth on the backend, what do people think of signing any of these guys to cheap one year deals? I know green and enstrom are likely not feasible, but maybe someone like Oduya as our 7 or 8?

Green signed a 2 year deal with Detroit.

Seidenberg (37), Bieksa (37), and Oduya (36) are all ancient and well on the downside of their careers. Enstrom hasn't had a healthy season since 13-14.

Enstrom probably wants to be done in the NHL at this point. His wife is going through cancer treatments back in Sweden, and I think he'd rather go home then take a one-year, small salary deal in a non-Winnipeg location at this point...I could be wrong, and probably a lot is hinging on his wife's condition...but I'd welcome Toby here with open arms (he's exactly the same player as Maatta more or less) but I don't think that's an avenue for us...
Seids is done, Oduya has been done, Bieksa is Bortuzzo at this point, Stoner was never really a good NHLer...

Yea I would love Enstrom but I didn't mention him because I felt there was no chance he was an option.Enstrom probably wants to be done in the NHL at this point.
