They should have put him in a row boat. He got off lucky.

Who do you want to send to the practice squad?

Malkin could use the practice.

Lafferty was the right call. Just pointing out that his terrible turnover likely cost him a spot.

Lafferty is the only guy on the roster that wouldn't need to be waived to go to the taxi or WBS. The turnover is irrelevant. He was first off the train no matter what.

The question is who gets waived when Reese comes off of IR.

There’s an empty spot. Rolling with 12F, 8D, and 2G.

Whoever we know won't get claimed so we can pick them back up when he goes back on IR

Geno, Jake, Zuck, Kaps, and Rust all have yet to score a goal, which is encouraging, because they will score goals.

Of all forwards, Rust has looked the worst.

DeSmith is the right call. Pens don't have a starter than can play like MAF - so just ride the hot hand. That being said, hopefully Jarry comes back to mid year player he was last year. Still giving up 3-6 goals a game through his last ten or something like that.

Yeah, ride the hot hand. Give Jarry the next game unless DeSmith is lights out tonight.

It would take him like a week or two to go through protocol though, right?

Yands...? Why? He's in America. We're in America. What don't I know...? (It could be a lot, I have zero interest in the covid protocols that the league set out, didn't bother to even glance at them)

I mean, DeSmih's hand was far from hot last game... Nice assist, but pretty horrid actual goaltending
