IIRC didn't the whole team get vaccinated before the playoffs last year?

I wonder if the one player is one of the newer guys they brought in this offseason who wouldn't have gotten it then and their team didn't do a vaccination drive.

The player who isn't fully vaccinated, will be a couple weeks...

Hallander is also hurt.

Tankov scored twice in his VHL debut (Russia's AHL) - he's got a 3+1=4 in 6 games at that level, which is terrific. Hopefully that can translate to the NHL in three weeks because we have two NHL centers currently healthy: Carter and Blugers.

They did say Hallander had a "maintenance day" which seems kind of weird for the first day of camp. Could be that he was getting his first dose now?

It sounds like the player is in between shots. Maybe if they weren’t on their way to being fully vaccinated he would have gone the Yzerman route but there’s really no need.

Pens are apparently 1 of 7 teams to not require masks at games. Are they requiring proof of vax?

Masks…no masks…can’t say I see anything wrong with either approach. If you’re worried about catching COVID at a hockey game, there’s a solution for that. And teams who force the masks will let you nurse a Pepsi with a chin diaper for 3 hours.

Where’d you see that? Last I heard PPG is requiring masks regardless of vax status. There has been no word on requiring vaccination, however.

I only wouldn't mask up if they required vaccination. Since they aren't, I won't be attending. Not trying to be high and mighty. I just don't feel comfortable being shoulder to shoulder with unmasked possibly unvaccinated people. If you are comfy, by all means, go nuts.

I doubt I'll go just because I don't think the team minus Sid and Geno right now are worth a full price ticket. My interest is at a low anyways.. ill watch on tv here and there, but yeah.

Sid was on the ice this morning for about 15-20 minutes doing some stickhanding drills and sprints before the rest of the team came on for camp.

Same. Sitting shoulder to shoulder with 17,000 screaming idiots with there being no precautions in place at all is not my idea of a good time. Vax required or I'm out.
