I’m looking for Guentzel to adopt the posture that life is worth living this season. He’s been sour since the injury. Wonder if he’s just getting older and a bit more cynical like what happens to most people or he doesn’t like the physical sensation of pro hockey with a compromised shoulder.

He’s important. He needs to step up his leadership.

I thought they were gonna suck last year and made a bad scene about it after that loss to philly in which they were up 3-0.. so this year im gonna keep my yap shut and hope for the best.

Candidates:
Zach Aston-Reese - From Staten Island. Not exactly the best gene pool. Lots of snails.
Lafferty, Samuel - He's basically from Altoona. Based on the board members from there and their, ahem, unique take on pizza...it seems like they're all a couple inches short of a personal pan, if you know what I mean...
Evgeni Malkin - Whatever the equivalent is to hot dog water in Russia, he probably got that injected into him. He'll likely either have a translucent green glow for the first 30 games or end up on the steroid list...

Long shots:
Tristan Jarry from Surrey...that's basically Pennsyltucky in an otherwise great province. Taylor Fedun from Alberta...Alberta and Saskatechewan are the American south, so...
