Does anyone remember why Jean-Sebastien Aubin played for 54 seconds of game 6 of the 2001 Eastern Conference Semifinal against Buffalo? It's the game where Lemieux scores with like a minute left to send it to overtime, than Straka wins it (again) to force game 7...

I remember Aubin coming in late into the 3rd period. The National pbp guy gave an explanation but I cant remember what he said. My guess is the Pens didn't have a timeout and they used the goalie change to draw up a faceoff or a play.

In my experience, if you have *that* kind of emergency, no way you are done that quickly, and forget about cleaning up that fast. Unless it was the final 54 seconds of a period.
