I think it will be Johnson instead of Maatta or Petterson.

I don’t think we see Maatta if everyone is healthy. Coming back from a shoulder usually is a long process until you are back to 100%

it's not a good look for me to just keep banging this drum in GDTs, but what the hell is the right thing to do with Kessel, and why have they done absolutely nothing to address a 2 month succubus?

is this like a "thank you for your service, and your status means you live consequence-free" thing? or does sullivan really think that taking the exact same approach with a guy in a long term mental/physical spiral with no continuity break is really the answer?

him making 1 slick pass per week on the power play is worth 2-3 unforced turnovers per shift? of course not. put virtually anyone else in his place and we're better off. take him away from malkin and we're better off. staple his ass to the bench when he's in one of his fits and we're better off. not that this was the case last night, but you can't have 18 other guys clicking with one guy intent on doing his own brain dead thing to undercut team continuity. that's gotta be deflating, right? like if there's a sweet zone entry on a PP, a ton of movement, some good shots...everyone is feeling the groove. then you hand it off to 81 and he fans on an airborne wrist shot to a guy 3 feet away and springs a short handed odd man rush...isn't that just a gut punch to the other guys?

this fingers in the ear saying "lalalalala" thing that sullivan is doing is baffling.
