Sorry, I've wasted too many nights this early in this season to watch lackluster play. It'll be nice to catch up on some stuff on TiVo, too.

Tristan Jarry just scored a goal for WBS.
he's not even the first goalie named Tristan to score a goal.

But he was the first in WBS history.

I know. I just needed a reason to post the complete list of goalies that have scored.

That was interesting. I wouldn't have guessed the list would be that short. Would also love to know the circumstances of some of those, like the OT winner.

4/11/2004 Antero Niittymaki Philadelphia Phantoms American Hockey League Game-winning overtime goal, shorthanded goal

And the list was well worth it. What a deflating game that would be.

Niittymäki scored a game-winning, empty net, overtime, shorthanded, unassisted goal on April 11, 2004 versus the Hershey Bears.
Goaltender Antero Niittymaki was credited with a shorthanded empty-net goal 2:32 into overtime as the Philadelphia Phantoms ended the 2003-04 regular season with a 3-2 victory over the Hershey Bears tonight at GIANT Center.

Hershey assumed a 4-on-3 power play 48 seconds into overtime when rookie defenseman Freddy Meyer was called for holding Shane Willis from behind on a breakaway attempt. Needing a win to qualify for the playoffs, the Bears then pulled goaltender Phil Sauve late in the power play.

During a scramble in the Philadelphia end, Willis had the puck beside the net and tried a pass that deflected off Niittymaki through the crease and off the far boards. The puck caromed out of the zone and down the length of the ice before trickling over the goal line just ahead of a pair of oncoming Bears.

Needed a win (OTL did them no good), pulled goalie, centering pass deflected off Nitty, off the far boards into the empty net down the other end. In part, as a result of that, the Phantoms went 12-0 against Hershey that year...

It's just a rumor, but would Maatta for either Manson or Montour be a good deal for us?

https://www.pensburgh.com/2018/11/15/18 ... osh-manson

On the one hand, I love Olli and think he still has some upside, on the other hand, he's slow and it seems thta you never know which Olli will show up for the season.

Also, please don't trade Calen Addison.
