In all honesty, I don’t think it hurts to give Riikola a spell (he played 90+ games last year) and give Beetle another game or two to get his legs back.

He’s a simple north south player. I think this team is making him very uncomfortable. I could see him being effective as a 3rd wheel on a Malkin line, but ZAR can do that too.

It's another one of those trades where I would have preferred to keep Hagelin. Hagelin in this line-up would be better speed wise than whatever it is Pearson is doing.

Pearson has had some really good games with us. But lately, he's had some really bad ones. Sitting him in favor of ZAR or Blueger for a few games isn't a bad thing.

He was injured and played through it. Could still be nagging him. With the lineup looking healthier might be a good time for him to rest for a few games. Cullen has been playing well but I'd like him to get some rest down the break so he's 100% for the playoffs.
