On pace for nearly 30 goals this year. He stepped up when Malkin was out. His production probably goes down now that he’s back to a more traditional 3rd line role. The terms and the price are pretty great I think.

And if he suddenly sucks we’ll just buy him out. We got that Lebron money now.

Guys like Billy guerin, Jeff carter, etc who have been around the block and back twice and seem well respected in the league... I think it says a lot about Sid when these guys choose to stay here

I remember last year thinking about how we used to get the Roberts/Guerin types to add some playoff experience. And then it sorta hit me, like well times have changed, have have the grizzled vets now. And then we got Carter
