As long as he can keep his head up, which he has done so far, his ~$750k cap hit would be tough to top with his production. Like I said before it isn't impossible but it'd have to be for an upgrade that is locked up long term to a friendly cap hit.

I was looking at the Pens statistics and saw Rowney's name. Forgot he even existed.

He's been perfectly unremarkable (when healthy).

I actually forgot Hunwick was a thing until I saw him in the warmups during the Panthers game mid-October.

I'm coming away thinking they're going to need another D even with Hunwick.

I'd trade Sheary over Guentzel - I've got a thing about not really liking small players.

Letang still sucks.

Sheary is the first Penguin to go 35+-35+ in his first 125 games since Geno.

I'm sure playing with Sid helps, but given that others have tried and failed with him, I'd say that's a pretty good stat.

Oh he's great no doubt, I just don't care for his size.

Probably irrational pet peeve. I think we could trade him per the rumors during the summer on someone willing to overpay. I just hate how when he gets cold, he has the potential to get REALLY cold.

Are there players that score every other game or something...? Everyone gets cold. This is a guy that we found on the street, he gets paid third line money and produces (last year, at least) like a first liner...you really can't ask for a better situation...

I'd say he's producing like a 1st liner on this team currently, since he's leading the team in goals*

*I think. His first the other night was 7, which tied him for the lead then. May be tied with Phil at 8?

I'd like him to be 6'1 and doesn't get physically abused like he did in the playoffs. My thought is someone overpaying for him, that's about it. I even said above I think he's good, I just wish he was bigger lol.

i think the concussion that derailed him was from hornqvist, right?

meanwhile, when his own players aren't head shotting him, he's flat out slaying. against FLA on a wednesday in december or in the SCF. dude is a gem. embrace it.
