Based on how the Flyers' Stadium Series jersey is designed, and what the logo on our own SS shirts looks like, this is what I think our jerseys will look like. Excuse the 5-minute Photoshop sloppiness.

We traded down a few spots, irrelevantly because we were gonna make the same pick, and got a far better player...I would make that deal 100 times out of 100...

He's a good player. Good 4th liner. Not a goon.

Honestly, I really like the merch.Based on how the Flyers' Stadium Series jersey is designed, and what the logo on our own SS shirts looks like, this is what I think our jerseys will look like. Excuse the 5-minute Photoshop sloppiness.

I do, as well. If the jersey looks similar to what I drew up, I think it may look sharp, even with that flat design.
I probably should have taken the white outlines out of it.

What Sundqvist does is not relevant because he wasn't going to be played by this coach. Pens picked the same guy at 51 that they were going to at 31, so not relevant. Basically got Reaves for free... no matter how much people are butt hurt about them bringing in Reaves, suck it up because it wasn't a bad trade, short term or long term.

I didn't mind the trade then and, all things considered, I still don't. It just seems pointless in hindsight.

Reaves didn't fit the team style, much like Jack Johnson.

I like the idea of Michael Ferland a lot. He comes with some risks (he has struggled with alcoholism) but would be a great banger come playoff time.

FWIW, "Multiple sources confirmed the Penguins have moved from “could” deal Brassard to expecting to deal the center."

I guess I, too, expected more from him, but at the same time it seems that the Penguins are unhappy with their 3rd line center doing 3rd line center things. *shrug*

Not news really. mikey has said at least once they considered moving him in the off season

True. But it seems they've made up their mind for good. Teddy Blueger or bust.

Progress.
Schultz is on the ice now for practice in a red (no contact) jersey. Aston-Reese is on the bench wearing a helmet and warmup gear. Looks like both will be getting in some work -SK

To be fair, Friedman said on TSN that Dallas is interested."Pittsburgh Hockey Now".

I'll be intrigued how the Pens operate at this trade deadline. Brass stinks, so they'll move him. The Pens also have an extra defenseman that they've already been rumored to put on the block.
Fix the 3/4C situation, then you have the luxury of maybe adding someone else.

Dreger also mentioned it. Brassard for Faksa and we're good.

In Friedman's 31 thoughts echoed Brass will be gone, nothing new. He did mention that the Sprong Pettersson swap was offered before it was accepted, Murray needed to think it over.
