I thought this was a joke at first. I will turn it on after the first intermission. I refuse to sit there and watch Pierre and Doc have a conversation with Susan Sarandon for 45 minutes. I'm sure despite the fact she is allegedly a Rangers fan, they will explain every call to her like she's 6. I wonder if she'll stump on other issues

There’s been a weird lack of finish for this team lately. Boston and maybe New Jersey are the only games we really should have lost since the deadline, IMO.

There’s nothing in this team’s profile to make us think this is going to be the norm. We have plenty of finish.

While I agree about the team's profile it is still disconcerting to see this kind of performance from this team in mid-March. I don't want them to limp into the playoffs, play a severely struggling Flyers team, win in 6, and then meet a team with it's poop together in the second round.

3. Being a celebrity and a long-time season ticket holder means you can make a guest appearance on NBCSports, even if you can't speak knowledgeably about hockey.

What determines the amount of back-to-back games, that are scheduled for each team? Is it PPG’s scheduling of events and the NHL just has to work around it? Just a few that I looked for.

Predators - 10
Lightning - 11
Capitals - 13
Penguins -18

There’s an algorithm they use, along with looking at the other events at each arena so that they don’t schedule a home game. I don’t buy anyone who says that the league has no choice when it schedules so many back to backs because it’s easy to prove that no other events were going on the day prior or after, and it doesn’t always mean he other team then gets a B2B.
