That's awesome. Based on his Twitter (which features some nice self-deprecating humor) it looks like he settled in the Pittsburgh area. Pictures from Cool Springs, The Galleria, and stuff thanking him for being a Penguins youth hockey ambassador.
Edit: He seems like an awesome dude. https://thehockeywriters.com/pittsburgh ... ien-aubin/
At least he's keeping himself busy.

The Hockey Writers: Can you discuss how you became involved with the Pittsburgh Penguins Alumni organization?
Jean-Sebastien Aubin: I‘ve never left Pittsburgh since I played here. We always came back in the summers, in between seasons. So I always kept in touch with the Alumni all along. When I finally retired a few years ago, after playing 6 years in Europe. I got more involved with it.
His LinkedIn says he's a Pittsburgh Penguins Ambassador, a goalie coach for Excel Academy, a goalie consultant for the Penguins Elite Amateur program, a goalie consultant for Southpointe Rinkrats, and a technician and club fitter at Golf Galaxy in Robinson.THW: How many William M.Jennings trophies would have an Aubin and Jocelyn Thibault tandem collected?
JA: Lol, probably zero. If we did, it would have been a tremendous team effort. Let’s be honest it would have been legendary, haha.

I'm dismayed that you didn't plug fifthaveforum. Come on, man. Try harder.
Awesome! I'm happy he responded, haha. He seems like a cool dude.

I'm sorry man--if it makes you feel any better I haven't played a damn round since we had this exchange. I am going to the in-laws this weekend so will probably be looking for things to do

I can't honestly say, as I personally don't know beyond that...
I can wildly speculate if you'd like...
Montreal would be foolish if they traded (yet another) major asset and failed to come away with a center. In theory, our extraneous center is (Francophone) Derick Brassard...Brass is a rental, MaxPac is a rental...then you could simply just make up the difference between Brass and MaxPac with pick(s) and see where you're at...
If I'm Montreal, though, Brass does nothing for me...and I'd rather increase Max's value by allowing a team to negotiate an extension with him beforehand and get a younger center...I'm assuming if Bergevin could have gone straight across for Gabe Vilardi he would have absolutely done it...
I wonder if Bergevin, foolishly, sees an opportunity to become a wild card team with there being no chance that Carey Price is as bad this season as last...Ottawa and Buffalo are gonna finish 40th this year, unless Dahlin is worth 30 points in the standings...Florida is an unknown as usual, so maybe they see a chance to step on some faces with Price...and they look for some now help out of this...it's crazy, but look at what dumb **** he's done...
That said, I wonder if something along the lines of like MaxPac and Jordie Benn for Alec Martinez and Jarrett Anderson-Dolan is the answer for the Habs...I really don't know what Montreal can do, it's tough to see an avenue where they dig out of this soon...

I pass through that Golf Galaxy semi-regularly, maybe once every month or so. I'll have to keep an eye out.

GMJR told one of the **** media members in this town that the coaching staff is gonna give Brassard a look at wing during training camp.
mikey's Thread of Penguin Randomness
I thought that was the plan almost immediately when they got knocked out and Brassard said he'd be open to tiring it.

Just because Brassard wanted it to be the plan because he didn't like playing 10 minutes a game in the playoffs doesn't mean Sullivan was going to do it. Of course, GMJR saying that's the plan doesn't mean Sullivan is going to do it.
