I've been thinking about it for upwards of 10 minutes now and I'm not sure he'd even be the 4th best Canadian center by that time.

Nedved played in the Olympics at 42 but the Czech team doesn't have the Canadian talent pool to work from.

Lemieux played in Salt Lake City at 37. All Sid has to do is retire for three years then come back one year before the Olympics.

Doesn't have to be a center. Canada normally brings like 6 to 9 centers to these things. I believe Crosby has experience at wing in international tournaments anyhow. He just needs to be one of the best 14 forwards...

Just thinking it out quickly, I think he has a real shot to be there...even if a kid like Bedard is accounted for...
