Last time I used it you had to present a student ID to pick up the tickets at the student rush window. No idea if that’s still a thing.

This is how it was when I used my law school ID. But that thing is two years old now so I'm probably not partaking in the program anymore. Though my wife has a currentish CCAC ID.

That said, no vax requirement no attendance from me.

I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the number, someone from the Pens' ticketing office left me a message today asking me about my ticket plans for this season. I haven't been a STH in six years. They must be calling up everyone who ever was a STH to pitch them tickets.

I can’t reconcile this (and what we’ve seen for 2-3 years now of this type of gutsy effort) with how much we shrink under pressure in April. It makes no sense how little this team is prepared for higher stakes hockey when they play half the season with sandbags strapped to them.

Our playoff exits have generally been atrocious since 09. I think it’s probably coincidence. But it seems like this team likes control. They like to do their thing that’s designed around non-playoff intensity and officiating. Measured and controlled. On their terms. But then when round 1 thunderdome happens, it’s mayhem and they don’t know what to do about it.
