From watching him back when he was playing for the Checkers and then the Canes, Brock is a good pickup, imo. He's tough as nails and I think has the potential to pot a few goals. In a disappointing offseason thus far, I don't hate this deal.

I don't know Lindberg off hand...I try not to scout goalies in general if I don't have to...

I am working on our draft picks though, I'll update the prospect progress thread when I have something useful...

Actually, the hockey talk over there today has been considerably better thought out than some other... Avenues. But, unfortunately they still can't grasp the concept of Penguin related and Not Penguin Related. It's just too much for them to handle.

I don’t think he can come out any say anything else really….. has to keep it close to the vest if he’s trying to negotiate a trade with another team.

It’s more the people saying that the team will definitely not make the playoffs….4 hours into free agency
