Deslauriers seems like a Burke move bringing in some dingus whose height and weight check boxes on Burke's "truculence" checklist. Doesnt seem like he actually does much else.

I dont have a problem with deslauriers. He adds some toughness to an otherwise meaningless 4th line

His playing style clicks the box. Burke wants guys that play with side, not that are just tall.

Deslauriers, who doesn't help a team win games, hits like a train, and hits often. However, he does it without taking many minors, 6 last year and 4 so far this year. A #13F to play against certain team. If they got him, meh. If they didn't get him, meh.

Man, could you imagine if the Pens could get Reaves. A guy that can actually play and at times police some a-holes. Oh well, guess we’ll just have to wonder what it would be like.

No, he didn't, I was hoping for big hits to Wilson and OV but he wasn't here that long so small sample size.
