I'd 100% go.
You and your antibodies will have a great time.
I think beer kills COVID too.
 $13 for a Coors Light. I don't know if I could afford killing COVID at a Pens game.

COVID rules say that if you want a beer at a bar you have to buy food too... so if you want a beer at the game will you need to buy food?

2,800 people in that arena is pretty low risk imo
Until they're all in the same stairwell at the end.

I kid, but I wonder if they'd have the foresight to block off the concourse (segment it into 4 parts, or so) so that each part of the building has a designated exit. It's not like concessions will be going full bore. Just make sure each segment has comparable stuff.

We need vaccination certificates. People find it icky but I want people out there doing things, even if I’m ineligible.

I’d be down for that. Start with air travel.

Considering there’s only like a 6 month gap between vaccine introduced and vaccine delivered to every American who wants one, make an app + digital certificate and let people freaking party.

I think there’s like a hurt feelings clause or some other wussie panic stopping this, despite the clear benefit.

And those who turn down the vaccination (outside of for a legit medical reason) can stay home and mask up when they do go out so they don't infect anyone else if they get the virus.

Bad timing since I like the signing of Hextall, but I find it interesting that new players (and sometimes coaches) in sports always have to declare their love and dedication to their new team.

For example soccer players that have kissed the logo of Arsenal, Tottenham and Chelsea during their careers. It is probably part of the game, but it seems a bit hypocritical to declare your love for several rival teams...

Well, the Hextalls liking Pittsburgh is a pretty unique story, to be honest.

I also like how his old man wouldn't talk to any of the Flyers when they visited Ron before one of his first starts in Philly. Those were the days, real animosity against rivals.

Out of curiosity, I went to Ticketmaster to see if I could get tickets for tonight. Easily could've got two. Looks like both of the bowls will be open. Prices range from $73 - $175. Plenty of seats available still.

It would be nice if the NHL would clarify positive test vs close contact.

Well, yeah. A positive test would mean at least 10-14 days out plus, you know, having COVID and possibility for severe symptoms or long term issues. That also comes with the possibility of team spread. Whereas a close contact would mean a few days and a few negative tests away from returning.
