dodint will like this thought from MM's column today:
But Letang seems a question mark to return. He suffered a stroke in 2014 and has had a small hole in the wall of his heart since birth. Anyone with pre-existing medical conditions is more vulnerable to covid-19. Letang qualifies.

But if Letang plays, the circumstances benefit the Penguins.
I say he plays.

No Toews top three? :O

Jokes aside - 87 has to be the first pick if you pick ONE center to play for you during the last ten years. McDavid has played too few seasons and Stamkos has been terribad during the playoffs.

I was told by folks here, quite emphatically, that the stroke that he tried to fix himself, by the way, would have no bearing on his health moving forward.

That snark aside, Madden is a bag of hot air and I would sooner believe any of you before him when it comes to medical issues.

Your first mistake was listening to virtually anyone on this board when they start talking about anything medical-related.

Honestly, and with all sincerity, they were probably quoting Madden back then too.

Probably a top 5 center of the past decade.

I could be misremembering, but I don't recall seeing players drop to one knee to shoot, routinely, until Sid.

Hull’s knee would give out after hauling around his 300 pound frame for an entire game.

I was sitting above Vasilevsky on that OT winner in the playoffs and I'm still convinced it curved around him

I love the way the video feed glitches a bit as the crowd erupts.

Some light reading on another hockeyless day. With the discussion about Sid in the last few posts and the constant conversation we have about finding a wing for him, this article hits those spots. We're really lucky that he's our guy.
