Yeah, an extra week or two to make sure it's healed beats having to do it all over again. The team looks pretty strong still and if the PP starts to go again, the team should do alright in the meantime.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but this injury would explain why Sid looked kinda "off" during his last few games.

In other words it probably should've been done back in September. Zach Trotman underwent sports hernia surgery on September 23 and returned November 1.

i liked the galchenyuk and lafferty line. that johnson goal was all generated by galchenyuk's extended efforts on that shift. earlier in the game he also showed his best speed of the year backchecking through the neutral zone.
