Who?I always forget about Kahun until someone on this board mentions him. What a turd.

So, Kahun gets a handful of games before everyone bails on him... yet there are probably people on this site that want to give Sprong another shot...

Good luck finding one?

On-ice Sprong, yes. Off ice and overall, makes it tougher. Kahun has also yet to show Sprong talent.

Kahun has 12 more games to score 2 goals to reach Sprong's mark.

There's like zero reason to still talk about Sprong.

Sometimes I have to fight the urge to bring up Orpik as an example for things...

I remember someone made a post the other day about Malkin et al. coming back and messing up the chemistry the team has right now. He has been very frustrating to watch the last few years; as they have both gotten older, the skill/talent (and especially training) gap between 87 and 71 seems to be growing wider.
Does anyone know what the line ratings on Daily Faceoff are based off of? According to that site, our fourth line was the top rated in the league and our third line the 5th highest. Our second-line was 18th. No idea if that actually means anything, but it's nice to look at.

I don't know the numbers shaf, but it seemed like Malkin was flying out of the gates in the games he played. He may not upset the chemistry.

Indeed, Geno was like the only one with hop for the brief amount of time he was dressed. I'd more focused on dudes like Chucky and Bjugs being comfortable playing at that pace.

Malkin did seem shot out of a cannon to start the season which was nice, but of course he got injured.
In any event the kids are giving this team some much needed energy, and Crosby is carrying the team in general. Not sure how long that can last, but it's fun.

The addition of Rust and McCann will not change the hardworking and speed of this current group. Geno has undeniable talent and I think he will change his game to fit the team, he’s done it before.
But I think the odd man out is Bjustad. I just don’t see how he fits. Slow, not really hardworking and honestly pretty soft

Really surprised we don't see more F/D utility players in the NHL, with salary cap and roster limits and such. Ian Moran FTW!

Agreed. He's simply not a player that inspires ... very much of anything, certainly not confidence.

Still not sure on the contract length but BAH GAWD Tanev has been everything advertised and a bit more. He’s like a faster but less skilled and younger Hörnqvist in terms of knowing what you’re getting every time he takes a shift.
