He won't power through anyone, but he won't be getting put on his wallet as much as I thought. Sheary will be off his skates enough anyway.depends if there are hot dogs 4 feet above his headCan Phil? What's it matter how big he is? He can't even do a pull up.For some reason I thought he was only 5'10". Yikes 6'1", he's going to dump on people this year. Especially if he's on a line with Skinner.
Middle Stat has a ton of skill and will be very good but his size is irrelevant to that is what I was getting at. Don't think he's gonna be powering through anyone

I didn’t think Hutton had what he did last year in him. Maybe there is something to him. I don’t know that he can consistently stop it with his style though.

I'd certainly welcome some elaboration on that...and I doubt I'm alone in thinking that...goaltending, like a woman's body, is a great mystery to many here...

His style is basically to not have a style. He’s like Tim Thomas. He plays like it is street hockey. “I could probably get the blocker on this, BUT LET ME TRY TO HEADBUTT THIS dodint” kinda guy. He’s below average in a bunch of fundamentals. Positioning. Angles. Depth. Save selection. He’s an above average skater, play reader, and battler.I'd certainly welcome some elaboration on that...and I doubt I'm alone in thinking that...goaltending, like a woman's body, is a great mystery to many here...

Save selection is what a goalie chooses to do to make a save, essentially. Dropping into the butterfly used to be a save selection...your choice of fundamental principle or action used to make a save based on the shot trajectory and other variables...What is save selection?
Martin Brodeur didn't pad stack + poke combo as a style...he chose it as a save selection when he saw an attacker coming in with the puck in front of him (i.e. not in shooting position) and when his eyes glanced down, for instance...

Save selection, in my opinion, is the choice you make on how you position yourself to make a save. A butterfly with elbows tucked into your hip bones, your stick on the ice and your chin against your chest is the save selection for a shot through a screen. A full on split with your glove hand stretch out as far as possible is the save selection when the pass gets through to a shooter on a two on one. What is save selection?
Making the proper selection is important because it has a direct impact on the next few seconds of play. A good save selection creates a low risk rebound, a stoppage, a gain of possession for the good guys. A bad selection causes goals, bad rebounds, continued pressure from the bad guys.
