Sprong ended up with 4 goals and 3 assists. 50 points in 26 games.

30 goals as well. This after a very slow start coming off the injury.

Per Sullivan, Horny has a concussion. He hasn't been ruled out for the entire trip, but was sent back to Pittsburgh for evaluation.
Letang's situation is "not a concussion, and has nothing to do with his heart", It is a "hockey injury, upper body".

Sullivan said that they don't know when it happened. So when the hell did Horny get concussed?

He does take a beating in front of the net. The way he bounces back from some of the things he takes makes me think he's almost invincible. So when the hell did Horny get concussed?

Well, this lineup isn't my favorite without Hornqvist, but I felt Wilson played well and has been playing well in the second half of the season. He does take a beating in front of the net. What I really loved about that WPG game is that the Pens keep proving that you can't win a game with goonery or ramping up the physical play.

Four games seems a bit steep. He was doing Enstrom a favor. Any player that takes a peek at a freight train then turns into the boards...ya get what ya get.

Could the entryway onto the ice be any more narrow?

Ooh, that's fun. I hope he gets into a few games. Long distance recall too, assuming WBS was out east, the Pens were out in Winnipeg, now in Edmonton and then I think we have Vancouver for the nightcap on Saturday...

I'm pretty sure he got called up around the same time last year to finish the season. I'm curious to see how he's come along.

Between Rowney and Sundqvist, I'd rather see Sundqvist.

Overanalyzing for a moment (I mean, I am an Analrapist)...
Pens are starting Fleury tonight in this back-to-back. VAN is tomorrow, clearly the weaker team of the back-to-back. The Pens are very much in a position to take over first place. A win tonight puts them only three points off the Caps. Every game at this point is important to try and secure home-ice regardless if it's 1st or 2nd.
What's the thought process in starting Fleury here? EDM is a high-powered offensive team. Is this to appease Fleury in some way? Is it because Murray has been a little shaky in the last three starts?
As shaky as Murray has been lately, I still feel more comfortable against a team like EDM than I do Fleury.

Pretty sure the thought process is that Murray has looked like ass lately and MAF is coming off his strongest performance of the season and is likely to give them the better chance of winning tonight.

He could be "protecting" his starter too...Murray vs. Vancouver is almost a guaranteed two points. Murray against Edmonton, a high-powered offense, is not a way for him to get his rhythm back necessarily...
Let Fleury and his flamboyant ways take on the shifty Oilers...let Murray build off of his last two periods vs Winnipeg and parlay that into a road win on a Saturday night...
I mean, I know it seems like small potatoes to some, but the starter should start on Saturday night, particularly on HNIC...the optics are all sound.

I think people are reading too much into this. They both will play this weekend and Murray played last.
