They probably wouldn't go far but they could get hot.

If there was a player the caliber of Mario waiting in the draft (you know, one of the best to ever do it) and there wasn’t a draft lottery then… sure maybe I see that way of thinking. Fact is there isn’t that player and there is that lottery. In the words of Herm Edwards: you play to win the game.
