So someone please tell me this roster is not going to be largely the same coming into next year with the same coaching staff and hoping for different results?

I know Carter contract is up, but we basically have Bunting instead of Guentzel and maybe Poulin coming up? The one prospect from the Canes? Are they going to try to dump/trade people at the draft.

I just don't want the same thing over next year.

Did you listen to Dubas's press conference at all?

He more or less said the cap increase in the offseason will help facilitate more movement of assets out as well as utilizing the $12 mil in cap space we have.

Hopefully a young guy or two in there. FA pool seems not great.

Guess I am just hoping for more turnover rather than the same lineup or similar. Guess we shall see how the draft and offseason go.

That lineup is still old as dirt and doesn’t inspire much confidence.

They probably should try and get a defenseman like skjei or pesce. Or go after Elias lindholm to play center but I doubt they can make that happen
